Hi there Its been really interesting coming across the Murnanes on your website. My grandfather was David Murnane, Municipal Engineer for Singapore until he was captured by the Japs and put in Changi POW camp. My father was sent to boarding school in England and landed up in Africa at 18 to go to uni in Cape Town and then married my mum in the then Rhodesia. They now both live in Zimbabwe which is in a horrific state. Family dramas still continue...if its not a world war its an african civil war.
